Guess what??

Again I've knitted  the traditional Marius sweater with a round yoke.
It was commissioned by an ex co-worker of mine.  She wanted one for her son and one for a cousin of her son.

The one on the right is the most common colors and then she wanted one in red and white.
I like the pattern and have made now 5 of these sweaters, and I guess I'll probably make a few more in the future.

We've finally got snow here in Norway and I think this winter  I'll have to make a real effort to learn how to use my cross contry skies. But the slightest hill or down-hill scares me. I'me sure I will fall down and brake something. My track record isn't good when it comes to outdoor activities.

But maby my ballance is better now since I take Zumba! class 3 times a week.

Well off to snow and skies:)
Have a beautiful day my lovlies<3

Online again

I been missing the last 10 day because we lost our internett connection . And it took the phonecompany such a long time to understand that the problem was with them and not us. So finally I'm online again.
I've knitted a few of these.
I like them a lot and think they are classic and timeless in the design.

The pattern is: Susie's Reading mitts (Ravelry link)
Yarn: Gestal Kamgarn
Needle: 3mm

My youngest son made me this lovely felted heart at school. And I got it as a christmas present.
 I think its gorgeous:)

Godt nytt år. Happy new year.

Happy new year to you all:)
I've been abcent for a long while now.  I have been busy, but not that busy. I have no good reason for beeing away for such a long while. But there you go, so is life:)

I've have knittet, sewed, but have not done so much jewellry. I had a kitchen fan in my " beading room" and our proper fan in the kitchen broke and we had to take mine. And as the economy is now a days it wasn't my first priority to buy a new one.
I put it on my wish list for christmas and my DH  bought me a new ventilator. I havn't put it up yet because I need to make a funnel for it.  You know: TTT things take time:)

I have knittet quite a few items on a commission. 2 marius sweaters with a round yoke and fingerless mitts.
It is quite nice to knit for others and to see their faces when they get what they wanted.

As you may have noticed before, I have a thing for owls. I always had.
Just before christmas I was shopping(!!!) and I saw these pretty simple white owls.
And the light holder I got from my father and my stepmom last christmas. I think they are so lovel together.

But it doesn't stop there.
I've also knitted one, hehe.

It's quite big and we have it in the TV- lounge. Its nice and cuddely. And I love it.
Who knows maby there will be more.
I found the pattern on Ravelry:
